Racing Career Highlights
Jon joined TC Motorsports as a Crew Chief in 2004. In addition to working in the pits during sprint races, he has been the Crew Chief for TC Motorsports’ winning cars in both the 2004 and 2005 8-Hours of the Cascades. As an Assistant Crew Chief at the 2005 25-Hours of Thunderhill race, he helped to tirelessly strategize, fuel, and maintain the car to a 2nd place finish in class, 7th place overall, and the highest placing Mazda in the event, even beating the factory-backed Mazdaspeed effort.
Jon has been involved in racing since 2000. Racing a Spec Miata in 2004, Jon earned two podium finishes, both in the rain. Jon drag raced and open tracked a Camaro from 2001 to 2003. In bracket racing, Jon cut a perfect .500 light and his efforts helped Team NW F-Body win the car club challenge two years in a row. Jon has also competed successfully in Autocross (Solo2), finishing 2nd and 3rd in the E Street Prepared class in 2000 and 2001, respectively.
