Fall is in the air! Kids are going back to school and the track season is winding down. In this newsletter, we’ll give you information on how to vote us the best auto repair in Western Washington, how to prepare for the upcoming enduro season, and some other news.
Fall is a good time to look at the condition of your track car or race car and start planning what should be taken care of in the off-season. Things to consider during the off-season are rebuilding your shocks, installing new wheel bearings and brake calipers, going through the drivetrain, replacing or upgrading steering and suspension components and bushings, etc.
Start your project today by having us inspect your car. We can then discuss any necessary repairs or recommended upgrades, determine the budget, and schedule the work to meet all of your goals. Call us at 253-887-0500 or email us today!
If you are contemplating a new car build or major rebuild for the 2011 racing season, now is the time to start planning. Give us a call today to discuss a complete new build or refurbish your existing car.
Drive smarter, not harder!
Sincerely,
Carlo Sparacio

Enduro Season is Here
The recent change in the weather can only mean one thing…enduro season is just around the corner! The 12 Hours of the Cascades endurance race is October 16, and the 25 Hours of Thunderhill is December 4-5. So, now is the time to start planning for success.
As a two-time winner at the 12 Hours of the Cascades and a two-time podium finisher at the 25 Hours of Thunderhill, as well as our experience in GRAND-AM Continental Tire endurance racing series, we know what it takes to finish well in an enduro. Success in endurance racing is not only found in pure speed on the track, but in whether or not you stay on track making laps and out of the pits.
One of the biggest ways you can ensure your car will stay out on track is with car preparation. (Another way, of course, is with the driver, a.k.a. the nut behind the wheel.) Have all suspension, brake, and drivetrain components on the car been inspected and, if needed, replaced? Does the car have an alignment and corner balance that optimizes tire wear for long stints and potentially heavier fuel loads? Has the car been thoroughly nut and bolted by an objective (and fresh) pair of eyes and hands? Have the fluids in the car been replaced?
If you’re wondering what the best way is to prep for your next enduro, whether it’s 4, 12, or 25 hours, give us a call at 253-887-0500. We’ll work with you to develop a plan for effectively and efficiently preparing your car and team for a fun and successful race!
GRAND-AM and Other News
The #14 Ford Racing Mustang Boss 302R is finally leaving our shop in North Carolina and is headed to our Service Center in Auburn, Washington after racing on the East Coast in the GRAND-AM Continental Tire series this season. We took delivery of the car in March in South Carolina, so we’re excited to finally bring the Boss home to Washington State.

Based on the popularity of our open house last December, we’re planning another open house this December so you can see the #14 Ford Mustang Boss 302R in person. As with our last open house, we are planning to have lots of cool race cars for you to check out. We’ll keep you posted about your chance to look at the Boss, sit in the Boss, ask questions about the Boss, and hear the Boss ROAR!
