Auburn, WA, August 4, 2009—TC Motorsports’ Ted Anthony, Jr. finished 2nd and recorded the fastest race lap in Round 9 of the 2009 Ford Racing Mustang Challenge (FRMC), which was part of the HARRAH’s Autobahn Grand Prix Presented by Mazda held July 24–26 at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, IL. Anthony was fast all weekend, posting the 3rd and 1st fastest times in the two practice sessions, respectively, grabbing his 4th pole position of the season, and then setting the fastest race lap for the 4th time this season. His second place finish was less than 1.5 seconds behind race winner Tony Buffomante.
Auburn, WA, July 22, 2009—TC Motorsports attended the 29th Annual Mustangs Northwest Mustang Roundup and Ford Picnic this past weekend in Bellevue, WA. TC Motorsports promoted the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge (FRMC) and displayed the #9 TC Motorsports FR500S, which is the most successful car in FRMC’s two year history, amassing wins in nearly half (7 out of 16) of all of the races in series history. No other team has recorded the number of wins that TC Motorsports has collected with the #9 car.

Auburn, WA, May 20, 2009—TC Motorsports’ Ted Anthony, Jr. won his fourth Ford Racing Mustang Challenge race of the season last weekend at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California. Anthony’s latest win makes him the winningest driver in the 2009 Mustang Challenge series with a total of four wins in six races.
Auburn, WA, May 13, 2009—TC Motorsports heads to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, CA this weekend for Round 6 of the 2009 Ford Racing Mustang Challenge. The event will be held May 14–17 in conjunction with the Verizon Festival of Speed. The weekend will feature races from the Grand Am Daytona Prototype and GT series, the Koni GS and ST series, as well as the Playboy Mazda MX-5 Cup.
May 1, 2009, Auburn, WA—TC Motorsports heads back to the East Coast this weekend for Round 5 of the 2009 Ford Racing Mustang Challenge championship at New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, New Jersey. TC Motorsports is the hottest team in the series with a record setting three consecutive wins (out of the first four races) this season. No individual driver or team has ever had more back to back wins, and team drivers Rick Edwards and Ted Anthony, Jr. are looking forward to continuing the streak in New Jersey this weekend.

Birmingham, AL, April 18, 2009—Ted Anthony, Jr. made a clean sweep in round 3 of the 2009 Ford Racing Mustang Challenge championship at Barber Motorsports Park on Saturday, converting the pole position he won in the morning to a race victory in the afternoon to score maximum championship points as he crossed the line ahead of Andrew Caddell after the duo battled closely through the entire 45-minute race distance.
